"Best spec and cheapest laptop."

"All under 4k." Quoted from datin. Datin came to me for advise on laptop. For your information my current laptop is Godzilla years old (6 years old) and I haven't been following the trend of laptops since 4 to 5 years ago. All I know is that we are moving to a netbook era. The smaller and portable, the better. Desktops are being replaced by laptops and laptops are being replaced by netbooks. I see ipad and smartphones era in the near future too. Oh don't worry the younger generations will still know how a desktop look like only if they see it in the museum.

So here is a guide of what we had come up with. Laptops under 4k. This guide is totally bias. Not being a fan of acer, fujitsu and toshiba so we exclude these few brands.

All the hype on the iPhone 4g, we just need to get an apple laptop, a macbook. The sleek design. The crazy clear graphic. The original white laptop. The apple glowing at the back of the screen. It's a statement with a MacBook. You are rich, you are fashionable, you are creatively different or you are just a plain rebel who wanted to make life difficult.

But with a pricey tag on a spec that worth lower than what it is, Steve is just selling the design and brand to you. Let your eyes decide instead of your brain and there you have it, a MacBook owner.

Since most of the people at the table of discussion are owners or ex owners of hp, hp got a lot of hype and support. Over the years, hp had come out with laptops sleek and nice to suit the consumers need. Not a bad job done hp.

The one bad thing about this laptop is it's a lil pricey. For the same amount of money, we could get a better spec.

The funny thing on Sony was when we questioned on it's durability. Can it last long? Answer from the floor, yes because we own Sony's tv for 15 years and it's still functioning till today. But is it the same for it's laptop. No one knows because nobody own one.

Sony has come up with it's e series that attracted our attention. The bright colours and design not only send a message of it's elegance but attract the young and jumpy (had to use jumpy because happy people are jumpy people).

On the issue of pricing, Sony is known to be expensive but with quality.

An unanimous response on Dell was UGLY. It's definitely the cheapest, the most warranty, efficient in delivering, good servicing, best spec at a cheaper price, durable and the list go on. It's surprising that with so much good point in hand, it's one of the 1st laptop we kick out from the list. Reason because it's UGLY. So no matter how great or cheap a laptop can be, design and outlook surpass all. No one want to spend their dime on ugly things one thing for sure.

So there it is our totally bias guide on laptops under 4k. At the end, its still up to the datin's decision on which laptop to choose.
