Don't be afraid to show the inner child of yours. I wonder where all the courtesy we learned as a child gone. Who started the trend of being rude in the first place. I guess the person must have been very angry all the time.
I was at the Airasia service counter today to settle a few bookings of flight re-time. There was no queue when i reached the counter. Happily i asked the lady to change all the bookings to the time I wanted. But because there were a few, they definitely need time to re-booked, changed the date, confirmed the time and also rechecked back with kl head office. The queue behind me started to form. There were just two to three people behind me. After 5 minutes, the service lady was still settling my bookings. I heard a loud 'tsk' from the lady behind me. I looked at her and then back to the service lady. I mean who wouldn't turn around and look after hearing such loud 'tsk'. Afterall the purpose of producing such sound was to get peoples attention. So there! i gave her the attention she wanted.
I continued to wait for my booking and after another 3 minutes or so, i heard a loud sigh from behind. This time I did not turn because i was scared that if i did, not only will i look, i will stare at her with a disgusted face. Its annoying for anyone to produce sounds like that. As expected 2 minutes after that, she started to throw a fit at the service lady complaining she's been waiting for a long time and asked if there's other counter available. NO was all she got. She then started to shove me aside and told the service lady that she wanted to collect her lost baggage in a rude tone. Oh now not only she produced annoying sounds, she is blind too?! Am i invisible? Is she retarded or something? Can't she see that the lady is busy doing her work (my bookings)? Its not like she was chatting to me and ignoring the queue behind.
Definition of queue is to wait. So WAIT for your turn. Everyone did their waiting time. So why jump queue and steal peoples time. ARGHHHH!! Can't stand such rudeness. If she is in a hurry, the least she could do is to ask me to let her talk to the service lady first. I definitely will let her because i wasn't in a hurry. Is it so hard to show courtesy towards others these days? Being courteous not only is respectful but it directly reflects on you as a person. Yes, you can get things done very fast with all the drama you threw around but it doesn't mean you can't get things done if you are courteous. Why don't we choose to have courtesy and flame out all the angry vibe created from being dramatic. So much drama. Cant.Stand.It.
