Seafood in Carey Island.

Banting, is a town located in a land so far away and so foreign, getting there seems impossible if you don't get lost in the first place. I was confused why gogglemap and gps seemed so important for the selangorian. Then it hit me when we were on the road. Too many expressway to head to banting, everyone got confused. We got lost to the extent of being at the opposite side of the highway away from banting. Lol. As an alien in the land of selangor, I think the highway here has got some serious problem. In the news I kept hearing highway with names like NKVE, LDP, SPRINT, SMART, KESAS but on the road when you are really on such highway, there's not even a sign saying you are on which highway. In Penang there's only one highway, the northsouth highway with only one way up and one way down. No road branching out when you were on the highway itself or right after going in the toll.

Anyway 7 of us braved the rain and forest to achieve our mission.

Our mission to banting..



..To heal kid ser with 7 members of sesat gang's combined 'cosmic power' (kid ser you must be touch because we sesat till banting and not fogetting, we healed you with our powers. Lol.)

But the real reason was actually to..



..eat seafood in Carey Island!

Had dinner in the same restaurant after 5 years. Nothing changed. The food still taste good. The price is still cheap.

But the service had gone bad. Quoted from aminah 'the lady boss seriously got a problem.'



Mantis prawn. First dish arrived very quickly. Not even 5mins of wait.

Waited for 15 minutes before our next dish to arrive. Vegetable. Finished the dish in less than 5 minutes.

By this time everyone was really edgy from the hunger and the waiting. Finally the crab arrive after 20 mins. It was attack by a bunch of piranhas. Plate was empty in a flash. Back to the usual waiting again.



Ask the waiter about our dish and one by one came after that. By the time the last dish came we were already full. The pace of eating was too slow. I didn't take any picture of the last two dishes because I was more focused on the food. Starving can.



Carey island seafood is highly recommended. I like eventhough we had to drive down a very straight and long road with lots of traffic lights before getting there.
