Philippines: The Squeezy, Bumpy and Smelly Ride.

Reach central station. From the station, we could walk to Fort Santiago but there was not much time in our hand because we need to catch a flight to Vigan. Hannah suggested the tricycles parking in front of us. So here we go on a crazy adventure ride racing to Fort Santiago. Boy it was bumpy alright. I never had so much fun sitting in a tricycle on a 30 something degree Celcius weather day. Get this right it was not any ordinary penang tricycle/shaw. The bike attached to it was BMX. The one they use in X-games. LOL. Along the way the city was beautiful. I would like to come back in the future and take my time to walk the city. No more BMX trishaw.

Our tricycle. Ready for us to hope in. And that will be three in a tricycle.

Amazing race. They were racing with each other because we said we need to get there fast. The condition of the road wasn't helping our poor butt.

We were racing among the bigger 'machines'. I was about to get a heart attack by then.

That's my window view throughout the ride. A gap between the armpit and the carrier.

We were racing against the Jeepney.

BMX bike. Dont play play. On another note, Emily was counting the guy's armpit hair happily.

This building was the reason why i wanted to come back again.

BMX against the calesa. Hands down BMX won over the horse. LOL!

By the time we got to Fort Santiago, my butt was numb from the potholes and stones on the road. I was sweating buckets as 3 of us squeezing in a tricyle in very hot weather. And of course the adrenaline rush from rushing through traffics, going in and out of potholes, turning corners without braking and laughing at ourselves on what we got ourselves into.

To be continued..How Fort Santiago greeted us.
