Busy junction. Not very good at shooting the continuous light. Need more practice to make it perfecto.
Some days when you are late for work, you just have this wish that all the cars in front of you will give way for you to overtake them like you are driving an ambulance with the sirens switch on. Or you wish it was a public holiday where no one is on the road at that ungodly hour. Or all the 12 traffic lights you have to pass through everyday are showing green all the way.
But the fact is when you are late, everything turned against you. You swore like you were born to learn that few words only. Cars going at turtle speed ahead of you, you tailed them so closely to hint them to buzz off. Some are blind, even when you highlighted them, they won't budge. You swore at the top of your lungs!! Cars trying to jump queue at the traffic light. You inched so close to the car in front nearly kissing it's bumper. You showed him the international sign language not to mess with you. He stared back angrily and jumped the queue at the car in front of you. Passing the traffic light, you pressed on your accelerator overtaking his car on the freeway feeling a sense of victory. Then comes the narrow road issues with the motorbikes around. The bikes rode in the middle of the lane. You swore beyond godlike as if he can hear you from inside of the car. Move!!!! Your engine roaring inching towards the little two wheeler. The moment it swerved a little, you overtook it, leaving a mere 5 cm gap side by side nearly knocking and running it over flat.
Well the 'you' I am referring here is actually me. But I believe everyone is a road bully when they are late for something. Catch me when I am not rushing to anywhere and you have a sight of an ol'grandma driving with a speed of 50km/hr (is that even legal on the freeway?). I hereby don't encourage road rage and bully. Everything happen in the car stays all in the car and when something happen, leave the car with a smile and a sense of calmness. Another last thing is stick to your lane. There's no half lane or middle lane. Just don't go over to people's lane because it annoy the hell out of that person and encourage road rage.
People nowadays are just full of anger inside. Take for example a road accident i witnessed just last week. A car in front of me was trying to cross at a t-junction. From far there was a car heading straight. She tried her luck to cross expecting that car would slowed down. Instead of hearing the car's brake screeched, I saw the guy just let it hit the crossing car with full force. The moment both car collided the guy came down of his car in a rage like he was going to hurt someone. Luckily the other involved car driver was a woman. The guy held back his raging anger. Now I think being a woman has it's own advantage. It easier to forgive a woman than a man from a mistake done. Woman are view as the weaker ones when it comes to driving skills. The whole incident made me realize life is very fragile. Live like there's no tomorrow. All the thank yous and love yous should be expressed everyday and not to be kept for that 'someday' because we'll never know what is going to happen. That someday might never come.
