
Fetal duck egg (balut). I used to see it in discovery channel and always wonder how it would taste like. When i got a chance to see it for myself, i jumped at the opportunity to taste it. Wonderful experience.
After my mountain climbing expedition, i was amazed at how my leg can work so hard. With only 2 jogging sessions for training, i could walk 20.4km. I was surprised at myself. For 2 weeks i rested and only did minimum amount of mobility like basic walking. Yesterday i put myself to a test. I did a jog and measured how long my legs can stand the exertion. I could sensed changes in my legs. I felt strength in my leg as if they were springs, springing every steps i took. After 15 minutes, i stopped. I was out of breath and my heart was beating abnormally fast. I looked at the distance that i covered and was surprised to find myself jogging without stopping for 300 meters. Normally i cant even stand five minutes of jog.

I wondered to myself what is limiting my ability. It cant be my legs because i know my legs have tremendous strength plus i didn't feel any pain or fatigue. Then i realized it was my heart. I have a weak heart. a little of exertion will start it beating in an abnormally fast pace. Soon i was breathless as a result of the heart screaming for more oxygen to be pumped into the blood. After all that happened to me, i realized the key role of exercising is not to lose weight nor to build muscles but to strengthen the heart. If the heart fail everything will soon fail. It doesn't matter if you have a size zero body of miss world or a muscular body of mr world, with a weak heart in it, you are just a living time bomb waiting to explode.

Scottish breakfast consists of square sausage, black pudding, ham, fried egg, fried bread and baked beans. If you are going to try these be wise not to google the meaning of black pudding.
Everyone exercise for a different reason. Some wants to lose the extra pound. Some wanted to tone and shape their body. Some just follow their friends. Some was their OCD. Some wanted the fresh air in the morning. Some just had nothing better to do. Exercise nowadays are preferred to be done in the gym. People spend thousands of dollars to be tortured in the gym. It has been embedded in the lifestyle of today's generation. You exercise, bathe, drink and meet people all in one place. If there's a good gym in baling, i might be the first one to sign up because in a way i can fill in my free time and tone my body. Everyone had a perception that with exercise they will lose weight. I found out this theory doesnt always apply. Often people who wants to slim down turn exercise into a life obsessive ritual. They go through vigorous army-like training exercise regime and their determination were like kamikaze soldiers. If i were to follow them, i might just be kamikaze-ed.

The key role of losing weight is not the exercise but the diet. YES..we know of the wonderful muscles we can build, the abundant calories we can burn and the lumpy yucky fats we can lose. The fact is the amount of exercise and the calories that were burned don't exactly proportionate equally with each other. Taking for example, you did the treadmill, the cross trainers, the rowing machine, the exercise bike, the benches and the weight; and after all that, you only burned a muffin worthed of calories. *world crashing down*.

Another sad news to break was after a good hard sweaty workout, it was time to reward ourselves. The hunger kicks in. The harder we exercise, the hungrier we become. There is a possibility of eating more than what you normally do. The more you eat, the fatter you become but what you don't know is the more you exercise, the more it stimulate your hunger. As a result you are taking in more calories than your body normally burn.

Don't think i will ever taste it another time because to do so, you have to cramp with around 20 people, starved yourself till 12am, got thrown with mozzarella after you just bathe and talked with very passionate italian men which half of the time you didn't know what he was conveying.
After a hearty meal and all the exercise you did in the gym, all you wanted do to is to go home, plop yourself on the sofa and watch tv until bedtime. Normal mobility become less on gym days compare to normal days because of the excuses of 'working all out' in the gym. Taking the stairs at the lrt station was replaced by the escalators, walking two blocks to 7-11 became a drive, windows shopping in the mall was shortened to listed groceries buying in hypermarket. All with the mindset of working all out in the gym. A normal routine day mobility was reduced and saved all to a 1 hour workout session in the gym which means there's no difference in the amount of mobility on normal and gym days. However on gym days you tend to eat more which explain the reason on why exercise didn't slim you down. A good advise is to watch your diet because you are what you eat. A maintain proportion of healthy balance diet and lifestyle everyday will do and i don't mean stuffing yourself with lots of vegetables or turned yourself to be a vegan.
