before i post up chinese new year stuff, i shall babble on stuff that happen today. yes..i need to complain like a crazy bitch before i post up good stuff. i met an accident on the 5th day of CNY. it was my fault because i 'kiss' the wira's bumper. but the thing that i cannot tahan was, the 'kiss' was soooo gentle i dont think an ant will die of it. when i got down of the car to look at the 'damage' that i done i cant see a freaking dent or scratch and the person already started to ask 'how to settle?' without even looking at his own bumper. i tell u i felt like re-banging his car hard hard this time till his bumper really fell off. bugger betuii. then the worse was his car was super old with rust all over and i can see that his bumper had been hit b4 by looking at the old scratches. AND he tried to blame me for that old scratches. he asked for 150 bucks for the bumper and i swear i wanted to kill him right there. argued and argued and argued and i got so fed up i threw 50 bucks at him and drove off. why are these ppl so desperate for the 150 bucks? i cant seem to understand. is the economy so bad to the extent till they wanna cheat a girl's 150 bucks. jeez. ppl are becoming worse and worse nowadays. i hope he buy more medicines with the 50 bucks that i gave him. my advice for y'all is to hit and run.....to the police station. probably the police wont even entertain because there's not even a scratch.
anyway..back to chinese new year stuff. let me start off with my reunion dinner. i worked on chinese new year's eve AGAIN! last year and this year. i shall make sure i am off next chinese new year's eve. last year was worse cos i was on call the day before chinese new year eve and while baking the cheesecake halfway i need to run back to save someone from committing suicide. the worse was when i got there the patient was conscious and talking. obviously she was not toxic. *fainted*. this chinese new year's eve fell on a sunday and while everyone was sleeping peacefully, i need to get my butt up for work. the whole journey was super lonely because there's really no car on the road. worked the long painful 5 hours of work and got back just in time for the reunion lunch.
i love this stuff but i had no idea what it is called. if you are teochew, u probably eaten before. made of yam, groundnut and etc.
since we were doing steamboat for the evening reunion for the BIG family, my parents were busy preparing and i got kicked out of the kitchen. i tend to be a nuisance more than a helper. LOL
