langkawi

yeah i just came back from langkawi and i feel like every single muscle from my hips down ache as if they are going apoptosis in no time. the whole trip was fun. the course there wasnt as boring as i thought it would be. the speaker for the course was amazingly knowledgeable. the organizers were fun ppl. the participants were some happy ppl from all age groups. i got to take a break from my routine and stressful work and relaxed for a few days which i think is neccessary because if i continue to work without a break i think i will go insane. my workplace is full with all 'kinds' of ppl. it drives me nuts if i dont stop and reflect once in a while. jeez.

anyway work stuff aside. lets get back to the main point. the course was well organize because the timetable wasnt very heavy and the theme was casual. normally on courses like this, i will surely fall asleep during the night session of the course but this was different. the speaker cracked lots of jokes and shared lots of real life experiences which interest me because i m quite a big fan of non-fiction stuffs. we stayed in a 4 star hotel and i got a big room with king size bed all by myself which i can roll and roll and i cant even fall off the bed. LOL!

the 2nd day we got to go jungle trekking. this is the 1st time for me to trek in a real jungle with no path. we need to find our own path out of the jungle at the otherside. i was excited at first until i reached the place. what i saw was a steep rock in front of me. the rock was like 10 metres high and i need to climb up there without any safety ropes. my 1st thought was to back out but i wasnt allowed to. then i thought to myself that i was going to die there this time. i was crawling on the rocks..yes on four cos i dun wanna die at this young age. i still got so much ahead of me. if i slip because of my nike sole, i will sue nike 'kau kau'. well not me cos i will be dead, my family will. hahaa. anyway i managed to get over the rock and i thought it will be a stroll after that but the path got harder and harder. at the end of the trekking, my nike soles came off completely but i felt a little sense of achievement. then again i was also super sad because this shoe had travelled the world with me and now i needed to throw it away.

langkawi is famous of its duty free so its great to shop there. i nearly went bankrupt if i din reminded myself that my bags were bursting full. bought a lot of stuff and i was happy with the price. drinking haven to summed it. hehe. sorry for the lack of photos. will upload it when i get all the photos. thats all for now. update next time.
