the campaign for the tuesday's election were getting more and more over-the-top each day. since the place i am staying is part of the permatang pauh area, everywhere i see is fully 'decorated'. LOL! 1st was the flags. yesterday morning was more 'melampau', i came out from my house junction and i saw a gigantic flag hanging their 'UNDILAH BARISAN NASIONAL'. when i reach the next junction, i saw anwar's face even BIGGER. everytime i came home from work i got the feeling of coming back to a fotress. seriously. the turning to my taman was the start of the battle of the flags. super eyesore i must say. yesterday night also marked the starting of 'ceramahs'. i can hear them yapping from my room. imagine the sound system that they are using. luckily the moment i touch the bed, they stopped. if not i will have sleepless nights till next tuesday. i wonder what else they would do. maybe 'mat rempits' with the flags?? LOL!! anyway it is good to have more polices out there observing the situation. you will never know how extreme the parties can go. i myself felt a little unsafe this few days.
