last year's today...

last year's today, i was in a city that i had never expect i would spent my christmas in, Budapest, Hungary. Budapest left a lot of memories compare to others because many many weird things happened there.

first up was the money. 50 pounds is equivalent to 17700 Forint. imagine carrying so much money around and the stuff were sold at hundreds and thousands. there is some similarities between the rupiahs. hehe

next, there was no SNOW! we were expecting a white christmas there and we end up with dark, gloomy and cold christmas. everything was closed on christmas day. the lighting of christmas was super minimum. finding a restaurant to eat was sooo hard we end up eating in pizza hut. the 1st ever pizza hut that need to be tipped. blardy hell. after learning the art of tipping in vienna which our pockets were sucked dried, again here in budapest in pizza hut. can u imagine we had to pay tip in PIZZA HUT??!!! i cant believe it!! the service was like a tortoise so freaking slow and we still had to tipped them. ridiculous!

then, the most memorable part was running down the freaking long escalators and jumping in a train in james bond style. THAT is something i will remember for life. do u know how long the freaking escalator was? it was known to be one of the longest escalator in eastern europe and i freaking HAD to run down the stupid escalator!! what if i fall??!! i sure die weiii. what happenned was we were being chased by a mad lame homeless person. luckily he was lame. the funny part was he was throwing bread at us and nobody notice him until he started to chase us. lol!!!

well that was the 2nd escalator i ran down with full speed. the 1st happenned in london bridge station in london. we had to run and catch the last train and i remembered that the metro person telling me we only had 2 minutes to get there. yeah, i got the same adrenaline rush running down the freaking long escalator as i did in budapest. when u get down there u still have to run quite a distance to get to the station as u know london have very long underground b4 u can actually get to the station.
