of all the cities in italy we went, rome left the most memories for me. it might be because we spent the most days in this city or there's just too much to see. with the sun high up on my head, my hair nearly combust into flame. i really cannot stand the heat anymore so where ever u see a green umbrella, that should be me. i wonder y all the 'ang mohs' just refuse to take an umbrella. its not a stupid act. ever wonder y there's no ppl die from heat stroke in malaysia? its because ppl dun just sun bath when the sun is on full blast. there are ppl that suffer sun burnt till the skin peel off with blood. not cool at all. anyway back to italy, because it's soo hot in italy, it ruined our mood to walk around.
on the first day in italy we went to the vatican city.
we left at 6am and to our surprise, there was already a long queue to the vatican museum. damn potong stim la. everywhere we went in italy, there were just long queue. at the end of the day we got used to it.
the vatican museum was really very big. at first everything was nice but after a while we got bored and everything seems to look the same. hahaaha
here are a few stuff that i find them super nice.

ever wondered y the statue that have some hands missing or head missing or leg missing are more famous than the statues that are not defective at all? this statue more 'melampau' everywhere missing except the body but hey itis very famous okay?!!
this ceiling here is super nice. see so may ppl keep taking photo of it. i myself took so many shots. hahaha.
okay..this is illegal. we are not allowed to take any photos in the sisteine chapel. spot the famaous painting by micheal angelo??
then we proceed to the vatican city. we spend too much time in the vatican museum and end up missing the pope who was giving a speech on that day..damn sad ade..

the cathedral was soo big. everything inside there were in the size of XXL. believe me. after ur visit here i can tell u that u dun have to visit any other cathedral because u have seen the best already. hehe
even the statue was super large. this is can be consider one of the smallest already. behind me is where u can find the holy water.

we went up the dome and because we are super kiamsiap, we choose not to pay for the lift. we use the stairs instead. so we climb around 500++ steps i think. damn tak larat.

the stamps in vatican city were very unique and only produced there. i din buy it because its too expensive plus i m on a tight budget.
sigh..damn lazy to type the whole trip la..let me summarize then. hahahaa

ermmm..the roma forum cover a very large ground in rome but everything looks just like in the picture. its just the ruined everywhere.
vittoriano aka the 'wedding cake'
i come to rome just to see this building and because there's construction going on, i damn speechless when i saw it. its called the wedding cake because the building is super white and nice but in this picture its not nice at all. super speechless.

was suppose to make a wish here but because we are on super tight budget, 1 cent oso we dun wan to waste. hahahhaha
the food in italy suppose to be fantastic but it turn out NOT!!!
we went to a restaurant in rome name Luzzi. it was highly recommended by the hostel's owner and some friends we made there.
i called rissoto and it turn out like puke but it tasted okay. i felt cheated because it stated there seafood but they only gave me ONE prawn. soo damn pathetic okay?!!
the rest called tortelini and it turn out like 'chow mein'. damn waste our money. sigh~ the funny thing was the restaurant was fully packed and the food were damn salty.
the food cooked by the chef in the hostel was 100 times nicer than the restaurant. so we end up eating all the dinner provided by the hostel. haha. here's the homemade lasagne. we only got to eat it at 12am because the chef talked too much. damn starving wei..
oh yeah not to forget. rome is not a very safe city compare to other place. my advise is to watch out for small kids that hang out in groups. they are famous for their pickpocketing. we saw them in the termini station at night because they were playing cards at the station. who da hell play cards at night in the station. so weird. turn out they are a bunch of pick pockets. 2 gals started to follow us. we looked at them back and they stopped but after that they continue to follow us. damn scary wei. anyway we manage to lose them. so my advise is to be careful in rome especially at night.
