Amsterdam part 1

amsterdam is quite an interesting city to visit. i think if u wanna go somewhere interesting then this should be it. something different from the rest because it is the only place where cannabis is legal. apart from that, it is famous for it's open sex country. so going there really was an eye opener for me. most people goes there in spring because of the tulip and guess what? i am there in spring and the hostels was fully pack till they have to put an extra bed in the already small room. so basically i hate being back in the hostel because it is too crowded and by the time we reached back the hostel, it's quite late already. some of the people have already sleep. we need to be super quiet in doing everything. damn restricted. anyway we move to another hostel the last day in amsterdam and all i can say is FREEDOM!!! hahaha.. that is because there weren't anyone in the room when we arrive (minus a guy who went out to eat till very late). anyway.. let the picture tell the story..a bit lazy to type ade.


view from the plane. look at those tulips fields. awesome is the word. at first i didn't notice because i wasnt sitting at the window side but when elyne saw it, she pointed out for me to see. then everyone in the plane started to look out the window.

after touching down, we went looking for our hostel and found out that it is situated at a small alley. if it is in malaysia then we should be very very afraid but in amsterdam, most of the roads are small alleys. so it's kind of normal. it's very near the china town (one block away) and red light district (two blocks away). after checking in, we headed down to eat japanese food at china town. quite nice and cheap too.

since we had nothing to do for the day we walked at the red light district. i was scared at first because i read somewhere that we should not take any picture of the womens that are at the windows with red light. there were all womens at the windows so i dont really dare to take any pictures at the red light district. afraid that someone will throw my camera into the river. however after a few days, we weren't that scared anymore because everynight we were walking along the red light district (nothing to do at night). we pretended to take scenary shots there but actually it's the photos of the red windows we are aiming for. hehehe.

moulin rouge in amsterdam. hehe. this is where you can see live porn show. they will do it in front of you. we didn't enter because it was quite expensive. see all the red light windows. it is where all the women show off their assets. come in all shapes and sizes. there was 1 that i got trauma after looking at her. her boobs were as big as my head. damn trauma after looking at her.


apart from the red light windows at the red light district, there are a lot of sex toys shop around. oh ya..did i mention that there are glow in the dark bras and panties. hehehe


during the day, the red light district is just like any other street. just that it's dead. there's no one here.


see the signboard saying coffeeshop. this is not any coffeeshop selling kopi-o or teh-o. this is where u can smoke or eat cannabis. in amsterdam, if the shop has a coffeeshop sign then there is where u can find cannabis. however most of the coffeeshops looks scary and dark and SMOKY too. so i was too chicken to enter. i just buy some cannabis lolipop to try which has no effect. hahaha
